The fifth annual Rec Camp brought together passionate individuals from 10 states for four days of intensive learning, engaging workshops, a captivating keynote speaker, and exciting tours of recreation centers. Our profound gratitude goes out to all the participants who made this event an overwhelming success.

From Monday to Thursday, attendees had the opportunity to expand their knowledge, network with like-minded professionals, and gain valuable insights from park and recreation and architecture experts. The event was comprised of two workshops, each designed to offer in-depth exploration and planning skills, a keynote session and tours.

The heart of our conference is guided tours of nine state-of-the-art recreation centers all around the Metro Denver Area. These tours allowed campers to discover the ‘why’ behind the design, speak directly to the operators of each center and experience them in use. From community recreation facilities to active adult centers, each tour provided insight into unique solutions for each community.
